My name is Mitch Smith, I'm a journalism student at the University of Iowa. I want to welcome all of you to what I hope will be one of the best Big Ten football blogs out there.
Each week, there will be a wide variety of things to read on this website. Game analysis, predictions, rankings, player of the week, and what to watch for just scratches the surface of things that you will see on this blog.

- I've always been a fan of the Big Ten. Growing up in Illinois, I watched Big Ten games religiously with my Dad, a Purdue alumnus. I'm now a junior at the University of Iowa, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication and English. I'm also in my first year as a sports reporter for the school newspaper, The Daily Iowan, covering intramurals and the women's swimming and diving team.
